About Academy Dreams
An independent guide for service academy applicants and their families.
Applying to a service academy is one of the most demanding college processes there is: an academy application, multiple nomination applications, a fitness test and a medical exam: each with its own rules and deadlines, spread across dozens of websites.
Academy Dreams exists to make that process clear and to keep families on schedule. We pair a step-by-step guide with reminder emails (coming soon) tied to the deadlines that apply to each student.
How we work
- Sources first. Every date and figure we publish links to the official academy or government page it came from, with the date we checked it. Anything we can't verify is marked “TBD – verify” or labeled as example data.
- Independent. We are not affiliated with the DoD or any service academy, and nothing here is official advice from an academy or congressional office.
- Privacy-minded. We collect as little as possible, especially from students under 18. No third-party trackers.
